In the present study, the researcher tried to study whether school environment and emotional intelligence, jointly and individually, predicts stress of students. A sample of 100 class XI students was selected randomly from the schools of Chandigarh. Multiple correlation statistics was employed. The results indicated that Emotional Intelligence and School Environment jointly predict Stress of students of class XI. Emotional intelligence is the better predictor of stress of students. Contribution of school environment in predicting Stress of students of class XI is significantly less.
