As ICT is becoming an obvious aid in all parts of societal activities, the competence requirements increase for all those operating in various parts of society. Education in general, and School and Teacher training in particular, are no exceptions. A range of studies, both nationally and internationally, show that teachers still only to a small extent integrate ICT in their own classroom teaching (ITU Monitor, 2009; Bauer & Kenton, 2005). It seems that one main reason for this situation is the lack of necessary digital literacy among teachers. In this paper the investigator gives an overview about the necessary digital teaching competencies required in a digital class room with special reference to science learning.
