VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN INDIA By M.Rajendra Nath Babu[1]

Abstract

Exploring teachers’ gendered lives and how these influence teacher-learner relationships and pedagogical practices offer valuable insights into the broader understandings of how schools could play a meaningful role in empowering not only girls, but all children and young people in establishing violent-free relationships within and outside formal educational environments. Violence against   women teachers is the one of the problem in our society. Despite the cost and size of this problem, very little is known about factors that lead to teacher victimization. More research is needed to better understand the causes and correlates of teacher victimization.
