Abstract
For measuring change proneness of secondary school teachers working in Hindi speaking regions of the country, the present task was undertaken to adapt and translate Mukhopadhyay’s Teacher Change Proneness Inventory which was originally in English language. For this, the statements were translated in Hindi language by seeking expert assistance. Back and forth translation was carried out. The validity of translated version was ensured by content and cross validity procedures. The reliability of adapted version of teacher change proneness inventory was estimated with the help of test-retest method and equivalence form method which were found to be fairly high. In order to interpret scores obtained on adapted version of inventory, z-scores were computed and z-score norms were established. In the end of the paper, the findings have been discussed and applicability and usefulness of translated and adapted version of Teacher Change Proneness Inventory was explained.
