STRESS MANAGEMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION OF SENIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS By Jose, T.J. and Dr. S. Amaladoss Xavier S.J.

The main objective of the study was to examine the relationship between stress management and achievement motivation of senior secondary students. The researcher adopted survey method for the study. The population for the study included the XI and XII students studying in the senior secondary schools of Jaipur district of Rajasthan. The investigator has used simple random sampling technique to collect the data. The sample consisted of 1500 senior secondary students. The investigator used stress management questionnaire and achievement motivation questionnaire constructed and validated by the investigator and the guide. The statistical techniques used by the investigator in the study are Percentage Analysis, t-Test, Chi-square test, ANOVA, Correlation, Regression and Factor Analysis. It was found that there was no significant correlation between stress management and achievement motivation of senior secondary students.
