Abstract
In this present study an attempt has been made to find out the level of professional commitment of teachers, working in Arts and Science College, in Chennai. The sample consists of 250 arts and science college teachers of which 148 were male teachers working in Arts and Science College and 102 female teachers working in Arts and Science College in Chennai affiliated to Madras University. Professional Commitment of Teachers inventory standardized by the investigator was administered to find the level of professional commitment of Arts and Science College teachers. To find out the significance difference of level of professional commitment between male and female; two – means, ‘t’ test was carried out.
