Abstract
The Scheduled Tribes are tribes notified under Article 342 of the Constitution, which makes special provision for ‘tribes, tribal communities, parts of, or groups within which the President may so notify’. The name Male Kudia implies that they are intimately connected with the hill. In Kannada malai or male means mountain and kudi means top. Students of inflicted parents are equally intelligent compared to student of non-inflicted parents. The present study inferred that, more numbers of malaikudi tribal children’s are affected for mangana kayile (monkey diseases) in Dakshina Kannada district. The result proves that there is no significant mean difference between male and female Children of Inflicted Parents with respect to Health Adjustment is rejected and there is no significant mean difference between male and female Children of Inflicted Parents with respect to Total Adjustment is retained.
